World Bank Doing Business Reports

The Doing Business project provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 190 economies and selected cities at the subnational and regional level. It was launched in 2002, looks at domestic small and medium-size companies, and measures the regulations applying to them through their life cycle.

Nigeria is ranked 131 among 190 economies on the latest World Bank Doing Business report, having improved 15 places from its 146th position in the 2019 report. Nigeria is also named one of top 10 most improved economies in the world for the 2nd time in 3 years.
